What Matchmakers Actually Do
Most people think matchmaking is about scrolling a database until two profiles line up. It's not. It's about listening — really listening — to what someone needs, sometimes even before they can articulate it themselves.
A lot of my work happens in conversations, in follow-up calls, in quiet moments of thinking about two people and whether something could be there. It's not a science. It's closer to intuition built over years of paying attention to people.
