One Soul provides matchmaking services by identifying and suggesting individuals who may potentially be compatible with you based on information available to One Soul and/or information provided by the individuals in its database. Any introduction, referral, or suggestion of a potential match is solely a suggestion and should not be understood as an endorsement, recommendation, certification, or guarantee by One Soul regarding the individual’s character, integrity, background, suitability, compatibility, intentions, conduct, or ability to enter into or maintain a relationship.

Your Responsibility to Conduct Due Diligence

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for determining whether a potential match is someone with whom you wish to communicate, meet, date, or pursue a relationship. You are responsible for conducting whatever independent investigation and due diligence you deem appropriate regarding a potential match, including, as appropriate, making your own inquiries regarding the person’s character, background, identity, marital status, employment, education, religious or personal practices, family circumstances, relationship history, and any other matters that you consider relevant to your decision to pursue a relationship.

You should not rely solely on information provided by One Soul or by the potential match in deciding whether to communicate with, meet, date, or pursue a relationship with that individual.

You are encouraged to speak with references and other individuals who may have relevant information about the potential match and to take any other reasonable steps you deem appropriate to verify information.

No Responsibility for Conduct of Potential Matches

One Soul does not control, supervise, or guarantee the behavior or conduct of any potential match and is not responsible or liable for any act, omission, statement, representation, misconduct, dishonesty, fraud, harassment, abuse, injury, loss, damage, or other conduct of any potential match, whether occurring before, during, or after an introduction or relationship. One Soul is likewise not responsible for any information that a potential match provides that may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or untrue.

No Guarantee of Suitability or Safety. One Soul does not guarantee that any potential match is suitable, compatible, trustworthy, honest, safe, or appropriate for you, or that an introduction will result in a successful relationship, engagement, marriage, or any other particular outcome. The fact that One Soul has identified or suggested an individual does not constitute a representation or warranty that the individual possesses any particular qualities or is free from any particular history or circumstances.

Independent Decision-Making

You acknowledge that you are making your own independent decision regarding whether to communicate with, meet, date, or otherwise pursue a relationship with any potential match.
